Raoul Fabre & Fils

Dark red in the glass.

Earth and smoke on the nose.

Smooth in the mouth, earthy, stewed black cherry fruit, tangy, charred, light bitter bite, smoky, medium weight, drying, a touch of brett.

With time, the wine becaame dryer and the bitterness increased to the point where it overshadowed everything else.

A long, smoky, earthy finish, which soon became a short, bitter finish.

Not enjoyable.

Purchased at $19.95 (Canadian).
