2001 JJ Prum GH Auslese Questions

by Redwinger » Sat Jan 31, 2009 12:19 pm

I tasted this upon release and loved it. I realize it still has a long life ahead of it, but was wondering if the Riesling folks had any recent impressions on this? The reason I ask is that I believe I may be able to source a few bottles @ $33 and don't really want to break my wine buying hiatus, but then again......???

Had one in May 2008 that was great. At a price less than a current release, well worth breaking your hiatus, and I don't say that lightly.

Bill,

I've not tasted the '01 Prum G.H. Aus, though I do have one in my cellar. Given that I can never recall being disappointed by any Prum wine I would definitely be inclined to put my hiatus on hiatus and make the purchase.
