Had picked this up as a possible Thanksgiving wine (per Calvert Woodley's suggestion) but we never got around to it. Opened it while visiting my brother and his wife last weekend, and was pleasantly suprised. Delicate but focused, I primarly sensed pear on the nose surrounded by a mineral aura. Fruity palate backed up by balanced acidity and more slight mineral notes. It held up fine against the wasabi sauce that went with the Ahi Tuna I had. Everyone at the table really liked it, and we've got pretty varying preferences. $14.99 at CW, I wouldn't pay more but will pick up some additional bottles because I think it's worth it (just) at this price.
