Quails' Gate Foch hasn't made an appearance in Ontario for some time now. As I recall, it was a much more "Zinfandelly (Zinfandelous? Zinny?) Foch" than our Ontario-grown examples, the latter being much more Northern Italian in overall profile to me (save the inky blackness and grubby/gamey aromas); the B.C. wine had decidedly more alcohol (something like 15% if I recall correctly) and r.s.
So, Albertans: Is it true? Does Quails' Gate Foch have a cult following out there?
