BTN: Hockley Dark and Stout

Hockley Valley Brewing Company
Orangeville, Ontario.

Decided to pick up something different to enjoy while watching the Eagles-Cardinals game. These beers come from a brewery I have never heard of and were quite enjoyable.

Dark

Dark brown in the glass.

Spicy, sweet, molasses, creamy, very malty, reminding me of malt vinegar, charred-roasted notes, dark choclolate.

Bitter and molasses on the finish.

Stout

Much darker than the above. Almost black, blocking any light from passing through.

Round, rich, intensely charred-roasted, dark chocolate, very smoky, creamy, sweet, strong black coffee. Much lighter body than the traditional Guiness stout.

Bitter chocolate, sweet and strong black coffee on the finish.

No idea Carl. All I can suggest is you Google the brewery site and send them an e-mail.
