WTN: Chilensis Reserva Carmenere 2006

Maule Valley.

Dark purple in the glass.

A lovely nose: chocolate, spicy, sweet fruit, smoky, then everything went to Hell and the nose became green and drying.

Medium weight, peppery, tangy, drying, creamy and black cherry fruit. After the first glass, the wine revealed a very strong green, bitter and drying aspect which dominated everything else for the rest of the bottle. :x

Very green, bitter and harsh on the finish.

What a waste.

Purchased at $11.95 (Canadian) and not worth a penny of it.
