2007 Max Ferd. Richter Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett
Crammed with ripe apple, lime and peachy fruit flavours on the nose and palate with some faint slatey notes underneath. Quite sweet (especially for a Kabinett) with moderate acidity, a bit of spritz and a medium length finish. Enjoyable with food, but comes across as a bit simple and lacking the acidity to balance the sweetness.

2007 Max Ferd. Richter Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese
Very primary right now, but so much fun to drink with bright mandarin orange, apple and lime flavours layered over slate and floral notes on the nose and palate. Slightly sweet, but really well balanced with good acidity and incredibly refreshing with a long finish. Must find more.
