1990 Domaine du Clos des Brusquieres Chateauneuf du Pape France. 14% alcohol. Dark garnet; deep hue; sweet aroma of cedar, plum and hints of leather, light floral notes, excellent fruit tastes with hints of cedar, leather and a bit of earth; sweet tannins; good acidity and excellent balance; medium mouth feel; long lingering finish of fruit and those lovely cedar notes. Lovely wine. Just what a CdP should be. Every time I drink a wine this good, I revisit the village and the ruins in my memory, and smile. 5*.

Regards, Bob

Great notes Bob. One of the great beauties of wine is the memories it brings. I love to just think about the place of a great wine like this. It makes it all come together.
