Some basic steaks on the grill tonight. Opened a half bottle of the 2002 Giscours to go with them. The wine is richer on both the nose and palate than it was a couple of years ago, and has filled out to a point that I believe it will be a very good bottle in another 3 years or so. Now it's fruity enough to sip on while I type this note and also has enough backbone to accompany red meat. It was a good QPR on release. Too bad those times are gone for Bordeaux.
