Mid-Week (Christmas Eve) Chat Tonight!

by Cynthia Wenslow » Wed Dec 24, 2008 3:28 pm

I know many, if not all, of you are settling in with loved ones for all the various holidays, but for those who are available for even a brief check-in, Chat will take place at the usual time.

If you could use a little break from all that family togetherness, please join us for this special edition of the WLDG Mid Week Chat! The fun gets started at 9:30 p.m. Eastern, 8:30 p.m. Central, 7:30 p.m. Mountain, 6:30 p.m. Pacific. 0230 GMT, some truly horrible hour in the middle of the night in Israel and most of Europe, 1:30 p.m. Christmas Day in Sydney and environs, 3:30 p.m. Christmas Day in New Zealand.

Right click to enter: WLDG Chat Room

Pull up a chair and pour a glass of something good. I'll be there and would love to have someone else to talk to!

That's 04:30 in the morning here in Israel, and unless a "call of nature" beckons, I'll be hopefully sound asleep by then.

Let me thus take this moment to wish all a joyous Christmas, one truly and hopefully reflective of "Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men and Women"

I'll join in if the family festivities allow, but making no promises.

I'll be in the middle of our family Christmas luncheon and it's most unlikely I can make it. If I don't, I would like to thank all my friends in chat for another wonderful year of comradeship and hilarity, especially the very kind support I received during my many months of invalidity. Cynthia gets a big kiss on both cheeks for keeping things ticking over with consummate ease, particularly, keeping us all in line, although, next year she must work harder in controlling the Stud Muffin, one of the funniest, but cheekiest, wits ever to grace our club room. Anyway, may I take this opportunity in wishing you and yours a memorable festive season in these most difficult times, hoping we all take a mountain of positivity into 2009. We'll need it!

Cheers and good drinking,

David

Daniel and David,

I wish a most joyous and festive holiday season to you both, if I don't get to talk to you in tonight's chat.

While I am still awake after some serious Paris revelling, I hope to be asleep within the hour. Merry Christmas to one and all!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
