Robin on the radio

by Bob Hower » Mon Dec 22, 2008 11:05 pm

If you were lucky enough to be in Louisville today, you could have heard Robin, along with John Johnson who runs a small wine shop within walking distance of Robin's house, on a local talk show called "State of Affairs" on one of our local Public Radio stations, WFPL. The show was a re-broadcast which I missed the first time around (I have no idea how old the show is), and when I went to the station's website, the link to "listen to the show" was inactive. I'll see if I can't figure out how to provide a live link so that those interested can give it a listen. Kudos to both Robin and John for a wonderful job providing good basic and more advanced information for the wine geek and novice alike. I especially enjoyed Robin's brief treatise on the history of fortified wines. Robin was in fine form - clear, unpretentious, and knowledgeable. What? You think I'm sucking up?

I found the station's Website, but the link to the episode wouldn't work for me either.
