2007 Bernard Fouquet Vouvray Domaine des Aubuisieres Le Marigny - France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Vouvray (12/20/2008)
Drank this with korean style beef over cellophane noodles and brown basmati rice. Very nice and much crisper than some Vouvrays. Yes it says SEC on the front. Minerally, with a little bit of honey, some pear but really strikes me is the crispness of the wine. I would actually have preferred it to have a little more richness and a little more sweetness for the pairing but would definitely seek this wine out again for other cuisine. Terrific and at $18, very fairly priced.
