Red/ruby color with a sweet nose of tree bark, herbs de Provence, earth, raspberry, cherry and dried currant fruit. On the palate some cherry and plum flavors, vanilla and rich, sweet tannins. I liked this wine quite a bit. It should continue to drink well for a few years.
