Has anyone tried this wine? Just bought a bottle that remains unopened and was wondering how good or bad or fair it was. Thanks.

Norman-
I've never had this but some notes on the 2005 can be found on cellar tracker.
Post a note when you decide to open it.

Not a real wine aficionado re: the descriptions you guys use all the time; however when i find something I like - I KNOW IT!

Just opened this wine - put it in the fridge to chill a touch vs. room temp. (we heat with wood so at times the house gets a bit toasty in some parts of it). Just poured a glass and the aroma is quite nice - color is bold and nice and the taste overall is really enjoyable. Plan on getting two more bottles to save for a later date. I did not find anything really disagreeable about it. Just my thoughts. :D

p.s. if I could make a wine like this from my grenache I'd be very pleased.

Hi Norman,
Welcome to the forum, one of the very best (maybe THE best) place on the internet to talk about wine. (Personally, I always think that THE best is in someone's well stocked cellar drinking on his dime!). You say that you are from Northern Middle Tn. would that be along the I-65 corridor? Say between Nashville and the Ky border? I am up here in Lexington, and have family in Bowling Green, so am always looking for another wineaux.
