I was in the mood for a non-mamby pamby wine to accompany the rosemary grilled loin lamb chops and this delivered. In fact, I marveled at how much I liked this wine. Inky, bold, big, full bodied, dark fruit, with an intriguing floral component on the nose. Tannins and acids are balanced. Decent peppery finish. This wine is in a very nice spot, but I don't see any need to rush down to the cellar and drink up my remaining 2 bottles.
