WTN: Weingut Nigl Gruner Veltliner Gartling 2007

Niederosterreich

Very light yellow in the glass.

Creamy, lemon and vanilla stick on the nose.

Very bracing in the mouth with the first sip, making my mouth tingle and shiver: sort of like a cool breeze on a hot summer's day. Zippy acidity, light to medium weight, clean, racy, nervy, lemon, green apple, melon and lime, spritzy, some lemon rind bitterness.

A mouthwatering finish.

Declicious and refreshing.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased on sale at $15.95 (Canadian).
