`94 Vintage Port, I get to taste the dregs!

Well, not quite the dregs but I got your attention!!
Roy Hersh was in town this evening, an annual visit, and downtown tasting was `94 Vintage Port (eight of them). I managed to catch the last ten minutes, busy night at the Grill, and heard about the wonderful Vesuvio and the Fonseca.
Store owners had some samples for me (nice eh) and I have to say I really enjoyed the Warre`s and the Dow`s. The Warre`s won out for me, the layers of fruit were very memorable and this was possibly one of the best VP`s I have ever tasted.
I really missed a wonderful evening! My good friend Todd has promised me some TNs so I will be able to link here asap.
