WTN: Bodegas Lurton Malbec Reserva 2006

by Bruce Hayes » Wed Oct 29, 2008 6:50 pm

J and F Lurton
Mendoza

Dark red in the glass.

Chocolate, raspberry and spice on the nose.

Medium weight, thick, viscous, rich, juicy cherry and raspberry fruit, tangy-tart, chocolate, a bitter streak toward the end. With time, the bitterness increased and became more prominent.

A bitter finish.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).

Bruce.... if you have another bottle... try decanting it for a good 45 mins. to 1 hour.
