Got a new Jessica's Biscuit catalog today and there was his new wine book, scheduled for a July release. Of course, ordered one so's I can be the first kid on my block to have one. Can hardly wait to read it.
Congrats, Tom......probably a big sigh of relief on your part to have that done. If your book promo tour comes to SantaFe, I can make sure you eat and drink well!!! Think about it.

I've ordered both of Thomas' books on Amazon. I used his recipe for Chicken broth a month or so ago, froze it and used it today.

Thanks all.

I haven't been posting lately, but I keep tabs on what's going on.

Author's Warning: some people will find the last chapter of the book contains stuff about wine bulletin boards that is likely to cause people--especially on one particular bb--to flame the xxxx out of me.

Mike, the second book is not about food, except that wine is food and it's all about the wine trade.

Ed, did you see that Bully Hill article in Wines and Vines for July?

Thomas,
I'm waiting for my sample copy that I ordered a few weeks ago. I see from the website it is Bully Hills Sports marketing. I have seen that first hand, with Buffalo Bills Cheerleaders in my store. I wish they still had the Busch series car.
I'm going to have to skip to the back when it comes to read the bb part. Can't wait.

If that doesn't entice people to buy it, then I'm not sure what would. Not knowing the history, but willing to hazard a guess, does the BB in question begin with "M" and end in "ark Squires"?
regards
Ian

Thanks Victor.

Ian, that's a great idea for me to use as promotion. I think I will!

Mainly, I don't get too critical, since, in my world, criticism and writing are different animals. I just point out some of the uselessness of some of the discussions and screaming matches that take place.

I should thank Robin for graciously providing a blurb for the cover of my book. And since he read the book beforehand, I guess he didn't take any offense with my characterization of some of the bb chatter--either that, or it got by him...
