OK, I admit it. I bought a bottle of this wine as part of an online order, "hey, a Pauillac, why not add it?" Impulse buys... The other 11 wines of the mixed case were great though.
2001 Baron Nathaniel / Baron Philippe De Rothschild - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac (7/25/2008)"Standard Pauillac plonk". A B-brand of the famous chateau. Red/brown color. Typical Pauillac saddle leather/cassis/plum, on a background of chunky tannins leading to a pleasant finish that adds some cedar wood. I must admit, actually not as bad as I feared but a total rip off at USD 50 in Israel.
