Worth $50? - TNR 2001 Baran Nathaniel by Philippe Rothschild

I posted this in Daniel Rogov's forum. Any TNs for this wine? It is available here for the equivalent of $50.

Never had it. But my impression of the Baron Nathaniel in general is that it's a part of a series of negociant wines that retail for about $20. Low level 2001s have not increased in price, and I personally wouldn't pay anything near $50.

Thank you guys. The question was a bit tongue-in-cheek, venting frustration about prices of imported wines here in Israel.

OK, I admit it. I bought a bottle of this wine as part of an online order, "hey, a Pauillac, why not add it?" Impulse buys... The other 11 wines of the mixed case were great though.

2001 Baron Nathaniel / Baron Philippe De Rothschild - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac (7/25/2008)
"Standard Pauillac plonk". A B-brand of the famous chateau. Red/brown color. Typical Pauillac saddle leather/cassis/plum, on a background of chunky tannins leading to a pleasant finish that adds some cedar wood. I must admit, actually not as bad as I feared but a total rip off at USD 50 in Israel. (88 pts.)
