2004 Mount Nelson Sauvignon Blanc - Marlborough

Color: Wet-straw yellow

Nose: Citrus, dried grass, some cat pee in the background.

Taste: Melon, citrus, some green pepper and grass. Nice acidity. Very good balance overall with the fruit out front. No overwhelming green pepper and cut grass notes that can accompany NZ SB's. More melon than I can recall in any previous SB. A very nice and refreshing sipper. I can picture this wine pairing well with a paprika chicken dish.
