Is this a Diam closure?

<table border="0" align="right" width="450"><tr><td><img src="http://www.wineloverspage.com/graphics1/diam.jpg" border="1"></td></tr></table>Frankly, I don't think it is ... it looks more like a Neocork or Novacork style synthetic, with a slick skin around the circumference of a light, very finely granulated center. But it's not quite the same - the center portion isn't as foamy, and the color is very close to natural cork. The odd logo appears to be the producer's, Yves Grassa of Domaine de Pouy. Does anyone recognize the stopper? If it <i>is</i> a Diam, I'd like to confirm that, as it would be my first.

Don't know what that is you have pictured, but the Diam has a small triangular marking on one end.

Definitely not a Diam.
Why don't you look at the website http://www.oeneoclosuresusa.com. They also have a video on how the closure is made.

Robin, that's how a "naked" Diam looks like:

You can have all sorts of branding, of course.

So if the wine's still corked, is it a Diam shame?

And if it gives milk, is it a cow?
