65% syrah, 35% grenache, although it tastes more like a grenache-dominated blend. Weak nose of fruitcake / candied fruit. Very pretty bright ruby red color. Raspberries, sour cherries, black pepper. Medium body, 13.5% abv. Pretty mineral, with good acidity. Tannins still a bit unpolished, the wine tastes somewhat rough in the edges. Short finish. Good CdR, although I liked others a bit more in this vintage, for instance Paul Autard.
