Another day of tasting in Singapore with some friends who opened these two bottles:

Celler Vinos Pinol Mather Teresina Alta Seleccion de Vinas Viejas(2001-2002) Terra Alta - I guess this is a blend of two vintages. Full, tannic and rich. Very dry but with good ripe fruit. Some plum and capsicum flavor. Very long finish. Not sure what grapes go into this but my friends, who met the winemaker, say probably Garnacha, Tempranillo and either Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah. Not quite ready to drink. Maybe two more years should soften it sufficiently. Impressive wine but sure to improve.

Celler Vinos Pinol L'Avi Arrufi 2002 Terra Alta - A blend of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. Very big wine. Cherry liqueur nose. Very tannic. Some coffee flavors but not much more. Closed making it difficult to evaluate. Try again after 3 years or so.
