The 26th London International Wine and Spirits Fair will be the most important event in the global wine and spirits calendar for 2006, and there's less than two weeks to go!

We anticipate over 1,300 exhibitors will take part from 35 countries... with about 50% of the floorspace taken up by the Old World and 50% by the New.

Some 25,000 professionals come from all over the world to ExCeL in London for three days to buy, taste and conduct their business. In short, it's going to be a great event...

I am a Londoner. This was always the highlight of the year. Is there an event in the D.C. area that could even come close?

Welcome to the area. There is the D.C. Wine Expo in the end of June. As you will get in early with a trade pass it will have to suffice. Check out the website at http://www.wine-expos.com. I don't know how Jake feels about the event, but I have enjoyed it in the past. It's moved this year.
