The 2012 Dalton Rose:

2012 Recanati Rose – Score: B+ (QPR)
This is one of the nice rose wines out there that is really fun made of Barbera and merlot grapes. The nose starts off with nice white stone fruit, raspberry, bright notes, strawberry, and cranberry. The mouth on this wine shows a nice body of cherry, more acid, good white fruit, yellow apple, kiwi, and great acid that with grapefruit and lemon. The finish is long and tangy and tart with nice spice, good control, with good dirt and earth, slate, and mineral. A nice balanced wine that shows off no bitterness, good body, nice fruit, and nice mineral – good QPR.

2012 Flam Rose: B+ to A-
Liked it a lot - do not have the notes handy

2012 Galil Rose - never liked their roses much

2012 Dalton Rose is quite nice indeed!

The best Rose(s) are not in the US yet, or they sold out, the netofa Rose, the Elvi Rosado, and the Capcanes Rose

Yep - I checked with them and they told me May...looking forward to this one again.

Unfortunately, this year's Flam Rose is a pale shadow (literally--its color is much paler) of last year's.
The Recanati is a fun quaffer with more body (and darker color) than typical.
Can't wait for the awesome Capcanes rose to get here.
