Thoughts on these wines, and the sale in general?

Very good sale - less than at any store or the winery. Love the Syrah, the Merlot is not for me, and the Rousanne is nice - but a different kind of white.

Has anybody recently tasted their late harvest sauvignon blanc 2008? I loved it 2 years ago, wondering if it still has any life in it at this discounted price.

It is still fine - but does not have the weight of the late harvest Chard - of course, and therefore not something I jump up and down about

Agreed with Raccah - very good sale. The Syrah should be great now too. Personally, I love Hagafen Merlots - especially as they age a little. Not typical merlot in some respects, but great Napa merlot all the same. [Drank my last Hagafen '99 Merlot back in 2010 and it was just outstanding! The kind of wine that stops conversation dead in its tracks while everyone, even the non-wine geeks, comment appreciatively without any prompting.]

I bought a mixed case and received a letter saying Syrah was 2008, not 2009. They offered to refund if I didn't want it. I'm getting it anyway, only orxered a few bottles.

I should clarify. I received notice that the advertised vintage was incorrect prior to shipping.
