Bsd. Hi anyone taste in recent times dalton alma 09 syrah/mouv/viogner ? Is it as intersting as it sounds ? Would like to give as a gift. H

Rogov only gave it an 88/90 but a window till 2014.

Hi Harry,

Here's my TN (from about 6 months ago):

Dalton Alma, Rhone Blend 2009: Deep, beautiful dark purple in color, blackcurrant, leather and cherries on both the nose and palate with clear licorice showing on the mid-palate and a hint of black pepper and saddle leather with nice tannins on the round and moderately long finish. Delicious.
