Kosher wine in France

Hi all, been a while since I've posted.

I will be in Paris in a few weeks, and I'm hoping to get some suggestions regarding kosher wines available there that are not in the US. Also, I'd appreciate any suggestions for wine shops, restaurants, etc.

(no comment...).

Not sure ow Gabriel could not mention Osmose - easily the best. Skip chateaubriad - overpriced and rude (maybe french folk get better treatment). Jaguer is good as is brasserie de belveder

Osmose - Was discussed here a while ago already. One of my worst restaurant experiences ever. That said, it was 5 or 6 years ago so I assume they have improved since they are still around. Chateaubriand is very pricey but the food is great, I never was treated badly but neither did I get really good service and btw, none of the above-mentioned restaurants stand out service-wise. Service is usually not their strong point over there in Paris whether you speak french or not... Brasserie du Belvedere, yes, I should have mentioned it, love the duck confit there but the choucroute au riesling is so-so:

OK, a few updates:

1) PLEASE SKIP Kavod - the food was horrible - http://www.123cacher.com/en/kosher_rest ... kavod.html. Went there with family and well, I am sorry they paid so much for my inedible lunch.

2) Try out a nice Moroccan/Oriental place called: Chez Francois - its info is blow. The couscous was awesome (I AM VERY picky), after a touch of salt. Its desserts were killer, and the meats were OK.

I'd avoid anyway any restaurant calling itself Kavod... Might be a Muslim place with Chalal Bet Yussuf certification...
