Alfasi Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Hey folks,

I just read that this Chilean kosher wine, Alfasi Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc 2011, selling for $13-15 for a 500ml bottle in the States is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon that was affected by botrytis, exactly like a Sauternes. Has anyone here tasted it?

Evidently, I also paid for it way more than the prices you're quoting. I would also like to add, that I've had it several more times since Pesach, and it didn't impress me a much as it did then.

Thanks Pinchas, I saw it on sale on kosherwine.com at these prices. I didn't now until today that it was both a sauterne blend AND botrytis impacted.
