Pearls in America?

Postby Ilan T » Sun Jul 27, 2008 11:18 am

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if Tabor's new Pearls (Pninim) has made its way to America yet? If so, where can I find it? Thanks.

Hi Daniel,

I heard a rumor today that Tabor only made 2000 bottles of this. Is this true?

Best wishes,

Best bet locally would probably be to contact their importer, Allied Wines.

I sent Allied an E-mail and never got one back. Luckily, my wonderful sister picked a bottle up for me before she came back from Israel this week, so problem solved. In any case, if anyone hears about availability in America please post.

This particular wine was produced in a quite limited quantity this year, as much to test the market as anything. Because of that only sample bottles were sent overseas. Considering what seems to be the success of the wine, however, I would count on a large production for the 2008 vintage.
