Nice, but somehow stuck in the middle, not a fresh/light summer wine, not a complex and rich reserve Chardonnay. Green/yellow in color. Citrus nose. Opening up with more citrus, fig, melon and vanilla. Full bodied, heavy texture. Creamy finish with some yeast and dried apricot sneaking in. Remarkable similarity in style to Yarden Chardonnay, or Yarden Odem Chardonnay. Maybe this wine enters a second life and will start to turn around with a bit more age. (88, maybe 87 pts.)
