Some of our members have wine blogs of their own. May I suggest that may be a good time and place for each of those to post a brief description and a link to their blog.

As to future links, no problem at all when the link is appropriate to a specific discussion under way.

Hi,

My blog is about alcoholic drinks (with some rare detours to tea and food), and most of the content is about wines. My favourite writing subject is the context of the drink, socially/culinary/seasonal and more - I think this is what wine is all about. The rest is mostly whisk(e)y and some mixing thoughts. The blog is in Hebrew and exists for about two years now.

Very kind of you Daniel...

My blog is something that started as a "scientific joke among friends and family" and became a blog. The blog is mainly focused on the wines offered at the Vintage section at the LCBO (Ontario, Canada) stores every two weeks...
The name GPCi (pronounced gypsy) name stands for Gaby's Potential Cellaring Index.

I used to (and still am) look for high quality wines that received good reviews, and that their price divided by the number of years they can be cellared is lower than 3.5... sounds too scientific, I know, but it helps you buy wines with better value for the money. so for example, assuming I have two good wines (got 95 by Rogov) one costs $50 and can be cellared for 20 years and one that costs $100 and can be cellared for 10 years. For cellaring purpose and from value for money, I'd prefer the first one - its GPCi is 2.5 while the other one the GPCi is 10 (the lower the GPCi the better).

Over the years, I found great wines this way without the need to go to the bank asking for a second mortgage... Again, I use it as guidance and not as a "bible"...

My blog "The PSychos' Path" focuses on Petite Sirah (which we are "PSycho" about), and is primarily written by me, along with the help of some friends from wine.woot. I don't get to update it nearly as often as I would like, in part because I am lazy :).

Ze'ev Dunie is one of our heroes. His Munch PS is FANTASTIC, and he's a great guy to boot. Rogov can talk more about the espresso :) -- I didn't get to try it.

I AM the WINE TASTING GUY...
http://winetastingguy.com/

What exactly that means, I'm not 100% sure. I do know I love tasting wine and the eternal quest to train my palate

The blog is basically my wine experiences or my take on wine in the media. Or anything else wine related that comes up.

You are all welcome to visit and say hi! Comments, criticisms, compliments, etc. are welcome!

Have a wonderful weekend!

I used to have a wine blog in Finnish, but I deleted it because I got fed up with it. Half of the comments I received said that I was an elitist bastard for drinking wines that cost over 10€/bottle; the other half was questions on the lines of what a home made apple wine from the '70's is worth on the current market. I have since started another blog in English, but I haven't said much about it because unlike my ex-Finnish blog, it is more a memory aide for myself (and though dominated by wine stuff, it does have much non-wine content also). But here goes my first official revelation of my blog: http://www.repositoryofuselessinformation.blogspot.com .

-O
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.

No longer ITB.

I have no blog of my own, it would be very hard for me to build a large audience that would bother to check in regularly. What I do however, is link my CellarTracker! tasting notes RSS stream into my Facebook profile so that all my friends on this site get regular updates about the wines I taste - automatically. No need to maintain a blog, no need for friends to find a URL.

I host a blog about wine from Israel here:

http://www.israeliwineblog.com

There you will find winemaker podcast interviews (also available for download through iTunes if you search on Israeli Wine Direct), winery profiles, my thoughts on wine marketing, and an insider's look at our business http://www.israeliwinedirect.com.

Thanks for the invitation to share, Rogov.

I think that my blog is probably the newest in town, as I've just started it.

It will be a general blog on wine as I see & taste it, and everything involving my experience with wine.

Here is the link - http://thewineman.blogspot.com/

P.S
It's so good to see that there are so many bloggers out there sharing their experience.

I operate a portal/English language wine blog focusing exclusively on Israeli wine. In addition to my own views and opinions, HaKerem: The Israeli Wine Blog tries to serve as a portal for news relating to Israeli wine in a Web 2.0 environment.

HaKerem (which means 'the vineyard' in Hebrew) - The Israeli Wine Blog is now located at its new URL http://www.israeli-wine.org.

Come on by! If you're associated with the industry, feel free to send material to avi@israeli-wine.org

I've also started a Facebook fan page for Israeli wine. Not much going on there, except feeds of HaKerem: The Israeli Wine Blog, but if you're a fan of Israeli wine and on Facebook, show your support - http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/pages/Israeli-wine/44839500415

My blog - http://www.kosherwinemusings.com is about the wine I drink and some musings on the world of wine. More and more we are seeing kosher wine getting interest by the religious contingent. Some of the kosher wines I get a chance to taste is pretty cool, so I really blog to share my experiences.

Best wishes,
David

I've got one, though I write for it less than I should (probably why I am here so much):

I write about mostly wine and dine experience of myself. Yahoo blog HK has a CHinese portal and I wrote my content in English and therefore it's not too difficult to guess the categories of my posts.

We had a bunch of serious wine bloggers in HK and if you happen to be in HK, give us a shout and we'll have a round of drinks!
