Tishbi Malbec 2009: Superb! How much there?

Tishbi Viognier Blanc 2011: Very nice off-dry blend of 50% each of White Riesling and Viognier. Very pleasant and refreshing, highly recommended.

L'chaim! :)

Did you mean that you never saw this producer before, or that a new producer is under the label?

I had the 2010/11 whichever it was, and both were fine wines --- for the price --- the malbec much better.

Yosh - you meant 2011 Red C.

Now on to the wines - the Covenants are quite nice. I liked the Red C when tasting in barrel from the Petite Sirah that is in it, and the Covenant Cab is quite nice as well.

Looking forward to the pacifica - would love to see if the second year will be a better Pinot - but I see none there. The Cab/merlot was OK last year.

I know nothing about these: 2009 Ruhlmann - Gabe or Yossi - know anything?

The 1848 wines have been extensively rated and reviewed by Gabe - so I lok forward to tasting these through as well. The 2010 Barkan Assemblage still shock me! There are NO 2010 being sold in Israel, why did they skip a year? My only guess is to have all THREE starting on the same year (the 2009 Tzafit is a Shmitta wine - go figure, with 5% of 2008 in it).

The netofa Rose is solid (as described on my blog) - get a taste for sure
The Tzuba PN is SO to OK
The Flam reserve wines are ALL FILTHY!!! Hey Yosh what do they go for here?

Hey Gabe - are these Erez wines the plain old plain old?

Ok. Ruhlmann: Never heard of.

Barkan Assemblage 2010: I guess this is a mistake and the 2010 stands only for the Tzafit while the REICHAN (not REICHMANN  ) and Eitan are 2009.

Netofa: Strange indeed, Pierre told me he won't make it to the US shows this year as there are not do many new wines of his to present however he will attend the London one. Perhaps he'll change his mind, who knows.

The Flam Reserve are off the charts. Incredible wines.

1848: You can check my reviews for the Syrah and CF on the other thread. Using Dave's scoring system the CF is B++ to A-, the Syrah is A-. The white blend isn't bad either.

The Erez wines I've tasted some, these are either OK or, well, not so OK...

ENJOY!!! :D

My understanding is that the Tulip Reserve Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 will be at KFWE (in addition to the "Mostly" CF and Shiraz 2010). Other wines include a new Cabernet Sauvignon SV from Herzog, the 2009 Barkan Altitude wines, the 2011 Netofa Rose (my notes say 2011 is coming but it may be the 2012 like Yehoshua posted & which I liked better than the 2011), some new Harkham (non-mev) wines, A Grenache from Ramon Cardova, a Cabernet Franc from Alexander and the 2010 Le Calre, Rollen de Buy and Tour Seran...

Gabe - I don't think it is a mistake since I got the same info that all three Assemblage will be 2010 but we shall see once Gary posts the full list...

Yeah I had the 2010 Alexander CF - VERY nice. I also had all the Harkham wines at the wine tasting last year - one was SICK the others were OK.

This one is actually quite nice and a lot better than the white one if you like this kind of things.

Harry, I was referring to Yehoshua's post as to the release of the Teperberg RED Moscato in the States. It's nice, tastes good and a great 'soda' to wash down some Tunisian fricassés (right Dave? ).
