I thought we were doing port.

Robin has posted in another thread on the main forum about it: sport wines here, and on netscape any Portuguese! Be a good sport on open a couple. :)

What Otto said ... Port here, Portuguese in general on Netscape. Of course one may freely cross-post in both directions!

Our good friend Jamie Goode has some interesting facts about Portugal......

http://www.wineanorak.com/portugals_wineregions2.htm

Should be a fun month here and on Netscape. Since Annabelle , who is from Portugal, opened DeVines here in town with Ed Fung, we have been spoilt!! A termendous selection, some of which have been transferred to my cellar.

The LBV choice at Doris Ranch is pretty fair so lets drink up!! Also keen to pick some brains over Tawny Ports, especially the 20 year old.

Bob, I thought the '91 was drinking well a year back when I had it. The '95 in the same tasting was really tight though. I'd have no qualms opening up a '91 now, though I'm sure it will also last well.
