Found it at the winery a while back. Grenache 36%, Syrah 23%, Carignane 32%, Cabernet Sauvignon 9%. alc 13.2%. Really did not expect this wine to be anything above average after so long, but it had been perfect cellar condition

Boy, was I wrong. There was an initial funk which blew off in 15-20 mins. What remained was an easy drinking, soft, fruity wine with earthy tones and personality to boot. A great argument for the quality of wines from the Shenandoah Valley. Wish I had bought more than the solitary bottle.
