A blend of Chardonnay (54 per cent) and Pinot Noir.

Light golden in the glass.

Good streams of bubbles.

Honey, lemon and toasty notes on the nose.

Tangy, lemon, green apple, refreshing and clean, medium weight, round in the mouth, lightly toasty, nutty, rich and rather gulpable.

A mouthwatering finish.

Went quite well with BBQ chicken in a lemon and garlic marinade and corn on the cob.

I sell this wine and I was very impressed with it the first time I tasted it. I think it shows very well compared to many of the California sparklers. Here it sells for $17.
