- 2004 Georges Dubœuf Morgon - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Morgon (8/3/2006)
Very primary nose with an odd scent of peach yoghurt (???? - I thought this was another oak + malo scent, but I guess not as this wine sees no oak. I suppose I should go back to school and study the scents). The palate is very fruity with fine tannins, a bit too low acidity and no sign that this would be Morgon rather than some other Cru. In fact, there is nothing wrong with this wine, but it is very anonymous. 2/3 left for tomorrow - hopefully better then.
