- 2004 Georges Dubœuf Morgon - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Morgon (8/3/2006)
Very primary nose with an odd scent of peach yoghurt (???? - I thought this was another oak + malo scent, but I guess not as this wine sees no oak. I suppose I should go back to school and study the scents). The palate is very fruity with fine tannins, a bit too low acidity and no sign that this would be Morgon rather than some other Cru. In fact, there is nothing wrong with this wine, but it is very anonymous. 2/3 left for tomorrow - hopefully better then.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.
No longer ITB.

Think I will open the `03 this evening after some birding around here. That will leave me with the `04 Brouilly to finish the month. Wonder what Robin has planned for Sept?
