J Portugal Ramos, S.A.

A blend of Rabo de Ovelha and Roupeiro

Light yellow in the glass.

Orange blossom, spicy and clean on the nose.

Apple, orange, lemon, peppery, medium weight, crisp, bitter grapefruit rind toward the end.

With time, the bitter grapefruit rind began to dominate.

If one wants to talk obscure, drink Portugal. I have a few lined up from CARM.
Not sure I would be keen on your bottle Bruce?

The wine started out okay, but, as I noted, the bitter grapefruit rind soon moved to the forefront. It was a little distracting.
