I opened a bottle of Dry Creek Vineyards Clarksburg Chenin Blanc '07 tonight for a hot night supper of Chinese chicken salad, and it got me to wondering.
Is there a Vouvray under $10 retail that's as good? I've had comparable $17 Vouvrays, but I can't remember seeing any Vouvray for the price of the DCV.
Let this stand as a tasting note for this month's theme. Good, reliable, dry, tasty Chenin Blanc. $9.99 at BevMo.

the very good vouvrays from pichot are available in CA for about $12.
