WTN: 2007 "G" de Château Guiraud Sec

$17 from Garagiste (and their email indicates it's about 70-80% Sauvignon Blanc, the balance Semillon). Had ordered this a few months ago after being intrigued by the email offer, and just received this a week or so ago in their spring shipment. Was quite looking forward to this after reading Bob Parsons' note on this and it didn't disappoint.

Pale straw yellow colour with a very herbaceous nose that shows kiwifruit, green mango and grassy aromas. It doesn't taste as green/herbaceous as the nose suggests though with slightly tart flavours of kiwi, green apple, grapefruit and stones over bright acidity. Clean refreshing medium length finish. Very nice, no complaints at the price.
