Robin, I know you had to be somewhere, but too bad you couldn't have stayed. Deano came by and talked with us. Then, those of us left at the end got a full tour of the entire place. Today was just wondrous, almost magical. I too took some pix and may post some if they turned out ok.

As I said on the way out the door to our meeting, Doogy, thanks for organizing this one. Great job!

Two iPhone pix ... the light kind of screws up the one with the sunny windows in the background, sorry.

What a fantastic meal! I had a great time this afternoon. Thanks again to Doogy for organizing and thanks to the staff at Corbett's for delivering perfection. Great pics of the food, and rest assured everything tasted as good as it looks.

What a great time this afternoon! It was so nice to have enough room to circulate between courses and chat with everyone, and I'm happy to have more faces to put with names. Thanks, Doogy, for putting this together and for the pix (although there were way too many of my pretty face).
A standing ovation to Dean, not only for the remarkable restaurant itself, but for putting together a staff that seems so deeply proud of the place. Our server, Caesar, could so easily have given us a quick tour and sent us on our way, but he took a good half hour to show us around and explain the history and workings of Dean's dream. He also showed amazing aplomb in dealing with a brown recluse that was exploring his person.
I look forward to the next hotbytes outing.

Oh, wow! The place looks gorgeous, and the food looks excellent!Chef Deano seems like such a cool guy!

How, exactly, does one deal with a brown recluse spider crawling on them, besides running screaming through the building?

I would recommend running screaming through the building. It seems like the most natural response. 8)

Doesn't it, though? It would certainly be MY response!

Glad you guys had a good time. Can't wait to try the place out!
