Our discussion forums

Welcome to our Wine Lovers Discussion Groups™! We're glad you found your way here, and hope you'll want to participate with us in the intelligent discussion of fine wine and its enjoyment. You needn't be an expert to take part, and our rules are few: You must use your own name, avoid "spam" (commercial solicitations) and "flaming" (insults and personal attacks).

Select the forum of your choice from the menu below, and feel free to jump right in with a reply to any message you can see. If you have questions about the forums and how to use them, feel free to post an "I need help!" query on any forum.

We currently host two active sets of forums, the non-commercial WineLovers Discussion Group (WLDG), and the Netscape/CompuServe WineLovers Community.

This is the latest version of our "classic" WineLovers Discussion Group (WLDG), the Internet's original wine forum. It's for serious conversations about wine, food and related issues. You needn't be an expert to participate, as we welcome all wine lovers and encourage discussions ranging from novice-level to wine-industry professional. Specific forums feature wine, food, travel and friendly off-topic chat. This forum is housed on our own servers. You need not register to view messages, but a simple registration process is required before you can post a message or reply. You must register using your own full name or, as a minimum, first name and last initial. We will not activate or respond to registrations using anonymous "screen names" or "handles."

Part of the family of online forum communities on Netscape and CompuServe, this online community's primary focus is on wine education, and its primary audience is members of those commercial online services. All are welcome, and the forum is open to reading without registration; to post or reply to a message, however, participants must register for a free AIM "screen name" (or use an existing CompuServe or AOL account).

Our only forum with a local/regional angle, this forum - associated with our LouisvilleHotBytes.com - is an active community for the discussion of restaurants and other food-related topics in and around Louisville, Ky., my home town. Registration is not required, but we do ask that you use your real name and follow our community rules against "spam" and "flaming."
