Please Read Before You Ask Your Question!
I am happy to try to give personal answers to wine-related questions, but because I receive hundreds of questions daily, I do request that questions be limited to topics that are not already addressed on The Wine Lovers' Page. Before you ask a question by E-mail, please read the "frequently asked questions" below and make certain that you can't find the answer on Wine Lovers' Page.

Please note that we have no way to tell you where to buy specific wines; and we are not able to offer appraisals for old or "collectible" wines. If you need a price estimate or want to know where to find a specific wine, click here.

Also, for a possibly quicker reply, we invite you to post your question as a public message on our friendly, interactive Wine Lovers' Discussion Group.

WHERE TO FIND WINES: Because distribution varies in every state and nation, I can't tell you where to buy specific wines. I strongly recommend starting with the quality wine shops in your own community or a large city near you. If this is not possible, and if your local laws permit you to buy wine directly from out-of-state suppliers, you might begin your quest on the Wine-Searcher database, accessible through www.wineloverspage.com/pricewine.shtml.

APPRAISING WINES: I'm not in a position to appraise old or collectible wines. For a price check, try Wine-Searcher, whose wine-price search engine is available from this link. If you are thinking about auctioning your wine, I recommend the respected wine-auction sites Acker Merrall (www.ackerwines.com); Brentwood Wine Co. (E-mail appraisal@brentwoodwine.com for an appraisal or visit www.brentwoodwine.com); WineBid (www.winebid.com), or Chicago Wine Co. (www.tcwc.com).

If you've been through these resources and still don't have your answer, then please click the button below to close this window and use our Ask A Question form. Don't forget to fill in your E-mail address accurately and completely, or we won't be able to reach you!
